CLUB PIX: HARD ON FU*K OFF

This January Hard On welcomed porn star Bruno Knight who hosted the first ever Fuc*k Off. This is where couples perform on stage to out do each other…much like a dance off except for F…ing!

The standard of contestants was quite high, but of course, there is always the ones you don’t want to see. As each couple took to the stage they were given 10 minutes to do thier stuff…and they tried…but with a time limit, hungry eyes watching there was no doubt going to be some ‘stage fright’. Only one person managed to reach the end…if you know what we mean, and he was awarded the best ‘top’. The clever thing about this Fu*k Off was we could relate to those on the stage. These weren’t porn stars that were paid to deliver a show, these were people who had a real desire for each other. They were exhibitionists…and you wanted to cheer them on. Apart from being sexual, it was also very entertaining and although you will not see any of the ‘Fu*k Off’ photos of the show here, you can see more on our dirty brother website www.FetishPig.co.uk.

Club Pix: Industri’s 3rd Birthday (& Minty’s Too)

It was the viral market sensation of FaceBook,  Minty walking down the street in time to the Eurythmics ‘Who’s That Girl’ and inviting the London posse to Industri’s 3rd Birthday, Come the day, the gay glitter  bag exploded as Minty fans and the Industri faithful turned out in full force to join the the most social or soirees.

DJs Oliver M, Brent Nicholls, Paul Heron, Chris Brogan, Alessandro Londra and Nick Evans took to the decks to spin a funked up soundtrack. Industri regular mixed it up with Indsutri newbies and across the bar, BarCode drinkers were amused and drawn in the by the social crowd. Name dropping…Miss Kimberly turned up, Disco Matt cam booging in, Pierre Morocco (minus tunes) dropped in for a drink, Glendora made an appearance as well as other various scene-starlets, Industri crew and clubbers. Despite some begging we could not get stripper Dan to take it off but we did get a fire-breathing show.

6 DJs recorded 2 hours of music for the Industri faithful to download. DOWNLOAD IT HERE.

Disco Matt presented the Birthday cake to rapturous chorus of the traditional song, and where the chocolate cake ended up is anybody’s business.

Club Pix & Video: LoveChild SnowBall

LoveChild SnowBall was the first big celebration after the new year events…and this SnowBall they had plenty to party about as LoveChild scooped the SeenQueen.com Club Poll  BEST MONTHLY CLUB of 2010…and these images and Video show you why!

LoveChilld returned for a spectacular white themed party cleverly called the Snow Ball, although the ‘white’ aspect’ seemed to escape the clubbers attention. It was also a very Australian affair with Johan Koury flown in form Sydney and fellow Aussies Brent Nicholls and Terry Vietheer hitting the decks too. Drag-men gogos, one very hot stripper and unexpected snowstorms engulfed the well attended club. The snow itself looked like foam, but kind of settled like snow…it didn’t ‘bleach and burn’ like foam so we were happy to dance in a blizzard in the middle of Fire. The new main room at Fire impressed with it’s new spacious set up. See video!

Disco Matt Review:

“….it had the usual ingredients of magnificent music, super saucy stage shows & plenty of audacious action to chase down. However, as for the “snowball” effect, yes the snow plumes in the main room added an element, but the supposedly virginal look of Fire was distinctly absent, rather with the alluring Aussie action, courtesy of Brent, Terry Vietheer, Troy Cox & the gorgeous Johan Khoury, combined to give it more of a down under rather than an up in the alpine feel, but there was nothing wrong in that. As for the crowd?, well a smattering of scene faces helped break the eclectic (some called it special) feel of the people present, but that said, there is some quite, well lovable about Lovechild, hence why it rose to the top of our 2010 poll…” read the whole review.

Club Pix: As One NYD 2011

Scene photographer extrodinaire Chris Jepson was a busy boy over the New Year period and he went to all the best parties. From his www.londonclubland.com website here is but a small sample of his pixs he took at AS ONE NYD @ Fire.

AS ONE certainly seemed to be the party of the weekend with a reported 1800 gay-revellers taking over the whole of the Fire arches. Each room was packed giving it it’s own special vibe. If there was one complaint was that it was too busy, but with all of Fire open the choices of where to hang were numerous including outside in the smoking terrace. All the tribes gathered for this event…and reports about the music, the quality of men and the sheer fun were all in the positive. For us this made As One  our party of the New Year season. Alex Erfan, the club’s promoter, tells us another one is to be held at Easter! We can’t wait!

“….Without exception, no event in Fire’s history has attracted quite so many people through its doors across an event, each room full to the rafters virtually from start to finish and the atmosphere the best we have experienced in a long time. Each room played their part perfectly, although we cannot deny that it was incredibly hot at times, no surprise given the 1000’s of bodies packing out the place. So, as with a year ago, As One on NYD proved it salt, delivering in every respect and very much stealing the New Year show, making it an out & out success once again…” www.discomatt.com

Club Pix: Salvation Returns NYD 2011

SALVATION dusted itself from the archives and made a spectacualr return to London on NYD 2011 to London at a venue that had it’s name written all over it.

To quote DISCO MATT : “….To see the place so full must have been heartening for the Salvation crew and deservedly so, as they did put on a prolific party with all the ingredients present that have made Salvation so special over the years, enthralling entertainment, magnificent music & theatrical style shows. All the D.J.’s, in their own ways, delivered delightfully, Guy Scheiman our shining star of this Salvation as his offer was both fresh & fulfilling, although that takes nothing away from either Mis-White or Oliver M who but delivered to expectation and that distinctive Salvation sound. Plus, there was plenty of entertainment on offer to ensure the party had prolific proportions that helped propel this from just any old event into something quite special, the laser lighting & large screen visuals tipping the scales for us in making this a superb rather than a same old Salvation and bodes well for its continuing fortunes in the capital…” >>READ THE FULL REVIEW

Club Pix: Best Flyers of 2010

Flyers are the front men in any club promotion, and with so much choice and limited cash image is everything. 2010 saw some spectacular flyers and some even more impressive series of flyers…as they tried to convince clubbers that their club was the one to go to.

Andrew Harris returned in spectacular style with some excellent artwork for Barcode including seasonal flyers and some extra promo artwork for the Wig Party. Przemek C Janowski also stepped up to the design plate…both these designers getting the most flyers featured in our 2010 end of year gallery.

LoProfile had the most consistent and impressive flyer collection utilising their own decor and staff to draw you in. Barcode also impressed us with various artworks. Area & Fire clubs had many excellent flyers, with AM really gearing it up after Oliver M took to the reigns.

For one reason or other these flyers impressed us be it  the artwork, the hotness, the design, the imagination or the quirkiness. Something in them drew our eye and that is what it is all about.
