A quick glimpse into Lo Profile’s NYE party, which it seemed, to be THE NYE party of Soho.
Lo Profile was a haven in crazy Soho New Year Even environment where the stylish, swished up, hunky and hot came out to celebrate NYE.
It was party time, and although slow to kick off, a countdown by John Hooley to the midnight hour received rapturous applause, numerous kisses and confetti canyon explosions. This was followed by the first song of the New Year, the original mix of Zoe Badwi’s RELEASE ME, followed by Balck Eyed Peas I GOTTA FEELING and capping off the post midnight mayhem with Zanderbeck’s take on EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD. Lasers ablaze, skimpy gold short clad gogo dancers and a lot of alcohol pursued for the party faithful that reportedly had to be ‘ordered to leave’ at closing time.
The party was an invite only event for the first 500 to sign up on the LoProfile website with limited tickets also on the door for those who wanted to join in (space permitting). This format proved to be very successful last year for Lo Profile which seemed to be the gAyLIST epicentre of New Years Eve before the New Year Day clubs took full effect.
