Salvation marked it’s return to the London Gay Scene with a stunning bank holiday party at the glamorous Koko in Camden. Certainly a deviation from the well treaded Vauxhall sidewalk, Salvation attracted a mixed and glam crowd to it’s re-debut.
Steve from Salvation was excited to tell us that this was the first of a series of parties from the new Salvation was has been rebooted and reformulated for the current gay scene. The hint was in the name of the theme of this party ‘the future’ although someone did comment the ‘sound of the Salvation Future was a lot like the Sound of Fire’. The most striking thing about Salvation was the lasers, lights and stage set up…..an array of modern technology set up against a back ground of old world opulence and glamour. The show reflected very much what we have seen in many other clubs like WE & SuperMartXe. How this can be made different without a complete overhaul of the big stage/production concept…we don’t know…but the circular ring set up with lasers, lights and massive video screens with equally awe inspiring graphics impressed us and gave us the ‘wow’ factor. Hopefully our forthcoming video will reveal more. In the while, check out the pics…for this is the future if Salvation…and it is something that you will want to be part of!
